The course is designed to acquaint students with different systems of criminal law on one hand and to compare and analyze the procedures of various countries to find out the advantages and disadvantages of the procedures in the criminal justice systems on other hand. The course is helpful to develop a critical approach and independent thinking of the students. The comparison may ultimately lead to revamp the Indian criminal justice system.
